Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 and darkened its night, and brought forth its forenoon; 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 And brought forth therefrom its water and its pasture; 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Will surely have Paradise for abode. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 What do you have to do with explaining it? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 Thou art but [sent] to warn those who stand in awe of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
