Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And solidified the mountains. 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And the Scorch will be made apparent to any one who beholdeth. 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 On the Day when they behold it, [it will seem to them] as if they had tarried [in this world] no longer than one evening or [one night, ending with] its morn! 46
