(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 high above? 28 Its night He covers with darkness, and its forenoon He brings out (with light). 29 and the earth which He spread out, 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 and Hell is advanced for whoever sees, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And who chose the life of the world, 38 most surely his abode shall be Hell. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 The extent of its knowledge goes to your Lord. 44 Thou art but a warner unto him who feareth. 45 It shall be as if; on the day they see it, they have but tarried for an evening, or its forenoon. 46
