Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 And cleaving their way therein into the host, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 their Lord will examine his deeds? 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
