Destiny (Al-Qadr)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

TRULY WE REVEALED it on the Night of Determination. 1 And what will explain to thee what the night of power is? 2 The Night of Power is better than a thousand months. 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 (The night is) Peace until the rising of the dawn. 5

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
