Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 and covered its night with darkness and brought forth from it its day; 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 Then when the Grand Calamity shall come 34 The Day when man shall remember (all) that he strove for, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 anyone who has acted arrogantly 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Then surely the garden-- that is the abode. 41 They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
