He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 Because the blind man had come in his august presence. 2 But what could tell you that per chance he might become pure (from sins)? 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and that the admonition might profit him? 4 As for him who thinks himself self-sufficient, 5 To him you give attention. 6 Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). 7 but as for one who comes to you, eagerly 8 And is also fearful (of God), 9 of him you were unmindful. 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So let him who pleases mind it. 12 (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour, 13 most exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 noble and most virtuous. 16 May (the disbelieving) human being be condemned! What makes him disbelieve? 17 Of what thing hath He created him? 18 From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him; 19 and then makes it easy for him to go through life; 20 He will then send him to death and have him laid in the grave. 21 Then He will raise him up again when He please. 22 But no. He has not fulfilled what was enjoined on him. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 That We pour down the water, pouring (it) down in abundance, 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 And Olives and Dates, 29 And enclosed Gardens, dense with lofty trees, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 AND SO, when the piercing call [of resurrection] is heard 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 And his spouse and his son-- 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 And other faces, on that day, with dust upon them, 40 Blackness will cover them: 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
