He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came unto him a blind man. 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 Or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him? 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 To him you give attention. 6 although it is not for you to be concerned if he remained unpurified. 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 and fears (Allah), 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 Nay, (do not do like this), indeed it (these Verses of this Quran) are an admonition, 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 upon highly honored pages, 13 exalted, purified, 14 [Carried] by the hands of messenger-angels, 15 Who are noble, virtuous. 16 Woe to man! How ungrateful he is! 17 [Does man ever consider] out of what substance [God] creates him? 18 From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him; 19 Then (as for) the way-- He has made it easy (for him) 20 then He caused him to die and brought him to the grave, 21 Then when He listeth, He shall raise him to life. 22 Not one he has not yet completed what he was commanded. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 It is We Who pour forth water, pouring, 25 Thereafter We cleave the earth in clefts, 26 Thereby produced grain in it. 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 And fruit and grass - 31 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry comes, 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 And from his mother and his father, 35 And his wife and his sons; 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news (of Paradise). 39 And many a face will be covered with dust on that day. 40 Veiled in darkness, 41 those -- they are the unbelievers, the libertines. 42
God the Almighty always says the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
