Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble scribes 11 They know all that you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 And what could make thee conceive what that Judgment Day will be? 17 Again, what shall teach thee what is the Day of Doom? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
