And of His signs is this: He created you of dust, and behold you human beings, ranging widely! 20 And among His wonders is this: He creates for you mates out of your own kind so that you might incline towards them, and He engenders love and tenderness between you: in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who think! 21 And among his wonders is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the diversity of your tongues and colours: for in this, behold, there are messages indeed for all who are possessed of [innate] knowledge! 22 And of His signs are your sleeping by night and by day, and your seeking of His grace verily herein are signs for a people who hearken. 23 Among His signs is this: He shows you the lightning, giving rise to [both] fear and hope, and sends down water from the sky, giving life thereby to the earth after it had been lifeless: in this, behold, there are signs indeed for people who use their reason! 24 Another of His signs is that the heavens and the earth stay in position by His command; and then when He will call you once you will come out of the earth. 25 All those who are in the heavens and the earth are His, and they are all obedient to Him. 26 And He it is Who originates the creation, then will repeat it (after it has been perished), and this is easier for Him. His is the highest description (i.e. none has the right to be worshipped but He, and there is nothing comparable unto Him) in the heavens and in the earth. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise. 27
