Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 They know whatever you do. 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 to burn therein. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the day when no soul will have power to do the least for a soul, and God's alone will be done. 19
