Shattering (Al-Infitaar)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 and when the stars are scattered, 2 the oceans are merged together, 3 and the graves are turned inside out, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 noble recorders, 11 Knowing all what you may do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 whereas, behold, the wicked will indeed be in a blazing fire 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19

God the Almighty always says the truth.
