Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 watching over you 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And indeed the sinners are in hell. 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 [It will be] a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to another human being: for on that Day [it will become manifest that] all sovereignty is God's alone. 19
