Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And urges not the feeding of AlMiskin (the poor), 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 whose hearts from their prayer are remote 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
