Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 The honourable recorders. 11 They know whatever you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And they (Al-Fujjar) will not be absent therefrom (i.e. will not go out from the Hell). 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
