The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe unto the defrauders: 1 Who insist on being given full when they take from others, 2 but when they measure or weigh for others, they reduce! 3 Do such (men) not consider that they will be raised again 4 Unto an Awful Day, 5 The day all mankind will stand before the Lord of all the worlds? 6 No indeed, the Book of the immoral is in Sijjeen. 7 What could let you know what the Sijjeen is! 8 A record [indelibly] inscribed! 9 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 10 Those who deny the Day of Recompense. 11 And none can deny it but the Transgressor beyond bounds the Sinner! 12 When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!" 13 Not at all – but rather their earnings have heaped rust upon their hearts. 14 Yes indeed – they will be deprived of seeing their Lord on that day. 15 Then verily they will be roasted into the Scorch. 16 They will then be told: "This is what you had denied." 17 However, the records of the deeds of the virtuous ones will certainly be in Illiyin. 18 And what will make thee know whatsoever the record in Illiyun is? 19 A Register inscribed. 20 witnessed by all who have [ever] been drawn close unto God. 21 Verily the virtuous shall be in Delight, 22 On couches face to face. 23 You will find in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 They will be given a drink of pure wine, sealed, 25 The seal thereof will be Musk: And for this let those aspire, who have aspirations: 26 and whose mixture is Tasnim, 27 A spring, from (the waters) whereof drink those Nearest to Allah. 28 The wicked used to laugh at the believers -- 29 and winked at one another as they passed them by. 30 And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting; 31 and when they saw them, they said [scornfully], "These men have surely gone astray," 32 But they had not been sent as keepers over them! 33 so today those who believe shall [be able to] laugh at those who denied the truth 34 while reclining on couches and reviewing (the bounties given to them). 35 Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do? 36
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
