The Cheaters (Al-Mutaffifeen)
36 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Spider (Al-Ankaboot) before The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Woe unto the defrauders: 1 Who, when they take the measure (of their dues) from men take it fully, 2 but when they give by measurement or weight to others, they give them less. 3 Do they not think they will be raised (to life) again 4 (To be raised) for a Great Day? 5 A Day whereon mankind shall stand before the Lord of the worlds? 6 No indeed! Verily the deeds of the wicked are in the Record locked up in the prison-house! 7 And how would you know what the Record of the prison-house is? 8 (There is) a Register (fully) inscribed. 9 Ah the woe that day for those who deny, 10 Who give the lie to the day of judgment. 11 And none will deny it, except every transgressor, rebel. 12 When Our Signs are rehearsed to him, he says, "Tales of the ancients!" 13 Not at all but rather their earnings have heaped rust upon their hearts. 14 Nay! Surely, they (evil-doers) will be veiled from seeing their Lord that Day. 15 Then they will indeed burn in Hell. 16 Then it will be said [to them], "This is what you used to deny." 17 NAY, VERILY - the record of the truly virtuous is [set down] in a mode most lofty! 18 and what will make you understand what the 'Illiyyin is? -- 19 A record of good deeds written. 20 witnessed by all who have [ever] been drawn close unto God. 21 The virtuous will surely be in bliss, 22 (reclining) upon couches they will gaze, 23 You will recognize in their faces the brightness of bliss. 24 Their thirst will be slaked with Pure Wine sealed: 25 pouring forth with a fragrance of musk. To that [wine of paradise,] then, let all such aspire as [are willing to] aspire to things of high account: 26 Blended with the water of Tasnim, (heights ultimate of evolution), 27 a fountain at which do drink those brought nigh. 28 Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed. 29 And when they passed by them, they would exchange derisive glances. 30 And when they went back to their people turned to make fun of them; 31 And whenever they saw them, they would say, "Behold! These are the people truly astray!" 32 But they were not Sent to be guardians over them! 33 But on this Day the believers will laugh at the unbelievers 34 On thrones, they will look. 35 Are not the disbelievers paid for what they used to do? 36

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
