The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is torn apart, 1 And it hearkeneth to its Lord, and is duteous. 2 when earth is stretched out 3 And shall cast forth that which is therein, and shall become empty. 4 obeying its Lord, as it must do! 5 O man! verily thou art toiling toward thy Lord a painful toiling, and art about to meet Him. 6 Then as for he who is given his record in his right hand, 7 shall be called to an easy accounting, 8 And he will turn to his people, rejoicing! 9 But as for those whose Book of records will be given behind their backs, 10 He surely will invoke destruction 11 and he shall roast at a Blaze. 12 Truly, did he go about among his people, rejoicing! 13 Verily he imagined that he would not be back. 14 Yes indeed, his Lord was ever watching him. 15 So I do call to witness the ruddy glow of Sunset; 16 And by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness; 17 And by the moon when she is at the full, 18 That ye shall journey on from plane to plane. 19 What is the matter with them? Why do they not believe? 20 When the Quran is read to them, why do they not fall to their knees? ۩ 21 Nay, but those who disbelieve will deny; 22 But Allah has full knowledge of what they secrete (in their breasts) 23 So announce to them a painful torment. 24 except to those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for theirs is an unfailing recompense. 25
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
