The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 By the Promised Day! 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 That accursed are the men of the trench 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had nothing against them, except that they believed in Allah, the All-Mighty, Worthy of all Praise! 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 But those who believe and do good deeds shall be rewarded with gardens watered by flowing rivers. That is the supreme triumph. 11 Truly strong is the Grip (and Power) of thy Lord. 12 Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats. 13 And He is the Fogiving, the Loving, 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has there reached you the story of the soldiers - 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Koran, 21 In a guarded tablet. 22
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
