The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the sky and the night comer - 1 And what will explain to thee what the Night-Visitant is?- 2 It is the piercing star. 3 No soul is there but hath over it a watcher. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 that issues from between the loins and the ribs. 7 God has all power to resurrect him. 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 Then will (man) have no power, nor any helper. 10 By the sky (having rain clouds) which gives rain, again and again. 11 And the earth splitting (with plants); 12 That this (Qur'an) is a decisive word 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 They are devising a guile, 15 and I am cunningly devising. 16 So allow time for the disbelievers. Leave them awhile. 17
God the Almighty always says the truth.
