[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And the mountains He set firm 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity - 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 And prefers the life of this world, 38 hell will be their dwelling. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
