Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
