The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who created all things and fashioned them in good proportion; 2 who determined and guided, 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
