The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to the easy. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
