The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 wherein they will neither live nor die. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily! This is in the former Scriptures, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
