The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
