Al-A'alaa

The All High (Al-A'alaa)

19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
