The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore, keep on preaching as long as it is of benefit. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
