Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 and [thus] shall We make easy for thee the path towards [ultimate] ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 He will be cast into the Great Fire. 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
