Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Hast thou received the story of the Enveloper? 1 On that day the faces of some people will be humbly cast down, 2 troubled and tired as a result of their deeds in the past. 3 They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire. 4 They will be given drink from a boiling spring. 5 No food shall be theirs save bitter thorn, 6 Which doth not nourish nor release from hunger. 7 [Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure. 8 well pleased with their striving, 9 In a high Garden. 10 Wherein you shall not hear vain talk. 11 Wherein is a gushing spring, 12 and raised couches, 13 and goblets placed ready, 14 well-placed cushions, 15 and well spread carpets. 16 Do they never reflect on the camels and how they were created, 17 And the heaven, how it is reared aloft, 18 and on the mountains, how they are firmly set up, 19 And at the earth, how it is outspread? 20 So remind them (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)), you are only a one who reminds. 21 You are not a watcher over them; 22 But he who turns his back, and disbelieves, 23 will be punished by God with the greatest punishment. 24 To Us is surely their returning; 25 Then, surely, it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
