The Night (Al-Layl)
21 verses, revealed in Mecca after The All High (Al-A'alaa) before Dawn (Al-Fajr)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the Night as it conceals (the light); 1 and the day as it rises bright! 2 And by Who created the male and female, 3 Lo! your effort is dispersed (toward divers ends). 4 Then as for him who giveths and feareth Him. 5 And believes in the best [reward], 6 We will facilitate for him the easy end. 7 But as for one who is miserly and unheeding, 8 And disbelieveth in goodness; 9 We shall pave his way to hardship, 10 his wealth shall not avail him when he perishes. 11 Surely Ours is it to show the way, 12 And lo! unto Us belong the latter portion and the former. 13 Now I have warned you of a Fire that flames, 14 in which no one will suffer forever except the wicked ones 15 Who belieth and turneth away. 16 He will be far away from the most pious. (The first Caliph S. Abu Bakr Siddiq) 17 even he who gives his wealth. to purify himself 18 And is under no one's obligation to return his favour, 19 Except the seeking of the pleasure of his Lord, the Most High. 20 And he is going to be satisfied. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
