The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 and do not chide the one who asks for help; 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
