Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
