Mention in the Book, Moses. He was devoted, a Messenger, and a Prophet. 51 And We called to him from the blessed side of the mountain, and We made him draw nigh, holding communion (with Us). 52 And bestowed on him his brother Aaron, a prophet, through Our benevolence. 53 And remember Ismail in the Book; he was indeed true to his promise and was a Noble Messenger, a Prophet. 54 He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord. 55 And remember Idrees in the Book; he was indeed very truthful, a Prophet. 56 And We raised him to a high station. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a generation who neglected their prayers and followed their worldly desires. They will certainly be lost, 59 Excepted, however, shall be those who repent and attain to faith and do righteous deeds: for it is they who will enter paradise and will not be wronged in any way: 60 Theirs shall be the Gardens of Eden, which the All Merciful has promised to His servants without their having seen them, and most surely His promise shall be fulfilled. 61 There they shall hear no idle talk, but only 'Peace.' There they shall have their provision at dawn and evening. 62 Such is the Paradise which We shall give as an inheritance to those of Our slaves who have been Al-Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2). 63 (Gabriel said:) 'We do not descend except at the command of your Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us and all that is behind us, and all that lies between. Your Lord does not forget. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them - so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him?" 65
