Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

I CALL TO witness the early hours of morning, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you wandering about and give you guidance? 7 And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. 8 Therefor the orphan oppress not, 9 Therefor the beggar drive not away, 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11

Almighty God's Truth.
