Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 Nay, you prefer the life of this world; 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
