The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the morning brightness, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Last shall be better for thee than the First. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and then gave you shelter? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 and proclaim the bounties of your Lord. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
