The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the midday brightness 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 Indeed what is to come will be better for you than what has gone by. 4 soon you will be gratified with what your Lord will give you. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And found you deeply engrossed in His love, so directed you? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Therefore, be not harsh with the orphan; 9 and chide not him who asks, 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
