The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the bright forenoon, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 Your Lord will give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) an orphan and gave you a refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And found thee in want, and given thee sufficiency? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
