The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the white forenoon 1 and by the calm of night, 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And the Hereafter is indeed better unto thee than the life present. 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Therefore, the orphan shalt thou never wrong, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim! 11
