Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Verily, with the hardship, there is relief (i.e. there is one hardship with two reliefs, so one hardship cannot overcome two reliefs). 6 Hence, when thou art freed [from distress,] remain steadfast, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh). Sent down in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
