Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
