▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ So I swear by the setting places of the stars. 75 and this is indeed a mighty oath, if only you knew – 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 in a hidden Book 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 the while you are helplessly watching that he is on the verge of death, 84 and We are nearer to him than you, although you cannot see Us -- 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 And if the deceased was of those brought near to Allah, 88 there shall be calmness and ease, a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he is one of those on the right hand, 90 'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!' 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 Then praise your Lord, the most supreme. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
