Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And [have We not] raised thee high in dignity? 4 Indeed, there is ease with hardship. 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 So when thou art empty, labour, 7 and to your Lord turn [all] your attention. 8
