The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 created Man of a blood-clot. 2 Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous, 3 Who hath taught mankind by the pen 4 taught man what he did not know. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 That he thinketh himself independent! 7 Surely! Unto your Lord is the return. 8 Bethinkest thou him who forbiddeth, 9 a worshiper when he prays. 10 Hast thou seen if he relieth on the guidance (of Allah) 11 or enjoins true piety? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Knows he not that Allah does see (what he does)? 14 No indeed; if he does not desist, We shall drag him by the forelock; 15 the lying, rebellious forehead! 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We will call the angels of Hell. 18 Yes indeed; do not listen to him – and prostrate, and become close to Us. (Command of Prostration # 14) ۩ 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
