In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 Created man from a clot. 2 Read, and your Lord only is the Most Beneficent, 3 Who hath taught mankind by the pen 4 Taught man what he knew not. 5 Yes indeed, man is surely rebellious. 6 For he thinks he is sufficient in himself. 7 Surely to your Lord is the return. 8 Have you seen one who prevents 9 a servant (of Allah) when he prays? 10 Tell me, if he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) is on the guidance (of Allah)? 11 or enjoins true piety? 12 What thinkest thou? If he cries lies, and turns away - 13 Does he not realize that God sees him? 14 Yes certainly, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock. 15 A lying, sinful forehead. 16 Then let him summon his council, 17 and We too will call the stern and angry keepers of hell. 18 (Muhammad), never yield to him! Prostrate yourself and try to come closer to God. ۩ 19
