Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Divorce (Al-Talaaq) before Exodus (Al-Hashr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Those who disbelieved be they from the People of the Book or from those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity will not desist from unbelief until the Clear Proof should come to them; 1 A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures 2 in which there are valuable Books. 3 Those to whom the Book was given did not divide themselves until the Clear Proof came to them. 4 Yet they were ordered to worship Allah alone, making the Religion His sincerely, upright, and to establish their prayers and to pay the obligatory charity. That is indeed the Religion of Straightness. 5 The disbelievers among the People of the Book and the pagans will dwell forever in hell; they are the worst of all creatures. 6 But those that believe and work righteous deeds, they are the best of creatures. 7 Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allah Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. 8

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
