The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and [when] the earth yields up her burdens, 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
