The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
