Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 and earth brings forth her burdens, 2 And man will say: "What is the matter with it?" 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done). 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
